I'd like to lodge a formal complaint that your photos make me Feel Big Stuff.

I'm English, and we're not designed to Feel Big Stuff (beyond perhaps Narrow-Minded Envy Of Other Nations Manifesting As Imperialistic Rhetoric) so this has put me off my stride for the last 11 hours.

Thank you for your apology in advance.

With you on partners who hyperventilate around candles! Have gotten around it in my home by glassing them in. Also the older I get the more diabolically forgetful I become. Protect self from self, etc...Your home looks beautiful and cozy

Have you read Henry Beston's "The Outermost House"? I think it may be close to the - nature speaking for itself - writing you're looking for. Yours is a very good question, and I'm really scratching my head over it. My guess is that poets do a decent job in that regard. If you find something, please share.

Yes, and having just finishing an excellent audio version of The Grapes of Wrath, an emphatic Yes Yes Yes!

The winter light where you live is so beautiful! I can’t get over it (and don’t want to).

So much to mention here but I have to say: Asta looks quite dignified in that cozy sweater.
